Profile of PT. Insan Bumiraya Inisiatif

IBI (PT Insan Bumiraya Inisiatif) is a Commodities Shop / Retailer enterprise based in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Our enterprise was established in 2020 with a focus on post-harvest processing, collecting, and selling farmers' wood from community forests and social forestry to industry. We have obtained the timber sales permit for the Sedyo Lestari Gunungkidul Forest Farmers Group (KTH) from the Forest Product Administration Information System (SIPUHH) of the Indonesian Government. Our commitment to sustainability is shown by SVLK certification. Our enterprise has a total of 5 main employees of which the owner and managers are women. Our timbers are sourced from small-scale farmers who joined Forest Farmers Group (KTH), in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta including 30% of women operating the woodlot. Our community engagement activities include reducing the layers of the supply chain (3 layers into 1 layer) to be more efficient. We have a total asset of IDR 330 million and average annual sales of IDR 850 million in the recent three years. We are looking for any collaboration or investment scheme to fund our business project on 1) The purchase of social forestry harvest wood, 2) Agroforestry post-harvest handling.
