Profile of Hendy Farms

Hendy Farm is a 2nd generational mango farm. The 20 acre owned mango plantation is located in Dodowa, Ghana within the West African region. Our enterprise was established in 2017 with focus to add value to mangoes. We have obtained quality standard certification. Our commitment to sustainability is shown by Global GAP certification. Our enterprise has a total of 12 employees. The ownership is 100% women base with 40% workforce being women. We reduce post-harvest loss by transforming our fruits into a range of value added products which include: Dried mango chips, Frozen mango slices, Mango moringa hotsauce, Mango habanero hotsauce, Mango jams, Mango popsicles. We source mangoes from outgrowers and indigenous owned farmers in Shai-Osudoku District. We show our commitment to communities by engaging them in good agricultural practice training and skills development of women in value addition.
