Profile of Palemcraft

Palemcraft Jogja was founded in 2003 and is located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We design and make home décor products using fast-growing species materials that are easy to cultivate, so it makes our products are environmentally friendly and sustainable. We regularly train our employees with specific skills to produce quality products that comply with buyer requirements. We also work with local craftsmen who have expertise in plaiting and other skills. The majority of our products are made from local natural ingredients, such as bamboo, pumice stone, mahogany seeds, rayung grass, sticks, bananas, and so on. Some materials are waste that is rarely used, but in our place, they are converted into goods with higher economic value. For wood products, Palem Craft Jogja uses legal wood and we also have an SVLK certificate to support our commitment to always prioritizing the safety of nature. We also use several environmentally friendly finishing techniques to produce a variety of unique and special designs for our customers. Our enterprise has a total of 40 employees of which the Vice CEO, Managers, and Workers are women. Our woods are sourced from local craftsmen and artists in Java, of which around 50% are women. Our community engagement activities include training the craftsmen. We have a total asset of IDR 1.5 billion and average annual sales of IDR 3 billion in the recent three years. We are looking for any collaboration and investment scheme to expand our business.
