PPHR Ngudi Lestari is a livestock and agriculture cooperative based in Playen, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Our company was founded in 2004 with a focus on raising, producing and selling local goats, several types of "mpon-mpon" (Javanese seasoning) consisting of curcumin, turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, temugiring (C. heyneana), and aromatic ginger. (K. galanga). We have obtained legal certification as a community forest managed with the assistance of JAVLEC. Our commitment to sustainability is demonstrated by FSC, SVLK (V Legal) and LEI certifications. Our company has a total of 18 core members whose workers and managers are women. Our Local Java and Goat Spices are sourced from self-help members in our local area, including 35% female farmers and nursery workers. Our community engagement activities include collaborations with Arupa Foundation, Shorea Foundation, and JAVLEC. We have total assets of IDR 5 million and average annual sales of IDR 24 million in the last three years. We are looking for collaboration, training, capacity building and financial support to grow our cooperative together.
